A fun collaboration between JAHIER STUDIO and Le Jardin Academy Arts Fest + Spirit Store, the Kawainui Stamp pin was created with Le Jardin Academy in mind. Founded in 1961, and hence 61 cents, this stamp pin celebrates the vibrant community of academic excellence and innovative education that is LJA.
Featured in this pin is the Kōlea or Pacific golden-plover, a native migratory shorebird and A'ali'i, and indigenous plant that was historically abundant in the area and can be found growing in countries all over the world. Both the Kōlea and A'ali'i are incredibly resilient species. Mount Olomana can be seen standing tall in the background and is a landmark of LJA's campus.
This hard enamel pin is handmade.
All ordered stamps can be picked up from the front desk of the Admin Building the Thursday following their order.
